educators who are passionate about teaching and positively
contributing to the lives of children in the Greater Denver area.
We're currently hiring for Special Education Paraprofessionals. In
this role you will support licensed teachers with academic
adaptations, self-care, and social/behavioral needs. Key
Duties:
- Case Manager to special education students with mild to
moderate or moderate to
- severe disabilities
- Be available for families on an as-needed basis via phone and
online understanding the flexibility necessary for an independent
study environment
- Respond as soon as possible but no later than 24 hours to
parent, student, teacher, staff, and admin inquiries via phone
and/or e-mail during the regular work week
- Work collaboratively within the special education team and
across departments in a professional manner
- Work collaboratively with all providers for students on
caseload and ensure services are being provided
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state timelines for
documentation and IEPs
- Monitor IEP due dates and scheduling, including full team
attendance and participation
- Email all approved provider reports to parents prior to
IEPs
- Write and manage IEPs for all students on caseload in SEIS and
send all lEP drafts to administrator for review
- Monitor and upload electronic signatures in a timely
manner
- Complete IEP Progress Reports for each student 2x/year
- Create and prepare SAi lessons for caseload Minimum
Requirements:
- Valid, current, CA SPED education specialist credential
- State and federal background clearance (LiveScan) to work with
students (Education Code Section 44237)
- Proof of a clear TB test dated within the last 60 days
(Education Code Section 49406) upon employment and thereafter
updated every four years Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- Past work experience in a school
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
Additional Requirements:
- Additional requirements include US Work Authorization. Zen

- Teacher Assistant's pay will reflect qualifications and
experience level.
