Job Description:
A company is looking for a Bad Debt Specialist to manage patient
accounts and ensure timely financial resolutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Review patient accounts for 501(r) eligibility and process bad debt
assignments
Manage a portfolio of Self-Pay and Payment Plan Accounts Receivable
for efficient resolution
Document patient accounts accurately and maintain compliance with
HIPAA regulations
Required Qualifications and Training:
Strong understanding of client self-pay and bad debt targets
Ability to navigate multiple systems and utilize robotic process
automation (RPA)
Experience with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and
PowerPoint
Comprehensive training including shadowing and a detailed training
agenda
