  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced NICU nurse for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, NRP and CA License.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 full years of experience
    • Active BLS, NRP
    • CA License
    • Level 3 NICU experience
    • Being able to attend deliveries is preferred
    • Travel experience is preferred
    • Spanish speaking nurses is preferred
    • Experience with premies, sepsis, cooling, and substance abuse/withdrawal
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hr shifts, 7am-7pm, 7pm-7a
      • Every other weekend
      • Holiday work in with perm staff
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Ratios: 1 to 1 or 1 to 3 if feeder/growers
        • EMR: Cerner
        • Charge Nurse: Yes
        • Nurse Aides: No
        • Scrub Color: Navy
        • Tele/Monitor tech: Phillips, no monitor tech
        • Drips: Any
        • Vents: Aveya, bubble cpap, vapotherm, oscillator
        • IV Team: No
        • RT 24/7: Yes
        • Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
        • Floating: Float to L&D to care for babies or to postpartum to care for babies
