Job Description:
A company is looking for a HEDIS Abstractor to conduct data
collection and abstraction of medical records for HEDIS
projects.
Key Responsibilities
Review medical records and transfer critical HEDIS data into a
specified data entry portal
Data entry into Advantmed proprietary software while maintaining
accuracy thresholds
Attend self-paced recorded training and comply with HIPAA laws and
regulations
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years or 2 seasons of experience in HEDIS
abstraction/review
Expertise in TRC, PPC, and WCC measures
Medical Coder Certification (CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA) or active
nursing license (LPN, LVN, RN)
Possess a Windows-based laptop or desktop computer with high-speed
internet access
Availability to work between 6:00 am EST and 6:00 pm EST
post-training
