Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an independent, efficient, and highly motivated Senior Account Director to help us wow our clients and deliver top results. This individual will be instrumental in helping us make our mark in this rapidly expanding industry.

The Senior Account Director will report to our VP of Client Services and will be responsible for working directly with Clients to orchestrate and execute content and campaigns such as written articles, advertising, email marketing, film projects, eBooks, and will work directly with KOLs regularly. The Senior Account Director will manage clients, build successful relationships, and effectively communicate with the internal content, marketing, and web engineering teams to execute effectively.

What will you be doing?

Client communication and management

  • Regularly interface with Clients and agencies via phone and email to keep them updated on project statuses and to obtain feedback on deliverables.
  • Consult with Clients as a true partner to deliver top-tier service and uncover innovative solutions for their most pressing needs.
  • Independently manage select client relationships.
  • Occasionally meet with Clients at in-person events or trade shows to better understand their goals and strategize initiatives to meet them. Team and project management
    • Host kick-off calls with Clients to ensure projects start off on the right foot and are set up for success.
    • Track campaign metrics and deliver results to Clients.
    • Coach, lead, and cultivate the talent of other Account Managers and Account Coordinators on your team and devise strategies to ensure projects are efficiently managed.
    • Translate client proposals into our internal project management system.
    • Carefully track project statuses and deadlines and update other team members on what's needed.
      • Track and resolve client edits to lengthy, written articles and multimedia pieces. Campaign strategy and execution
        • Work with various graphic designers, editors, marketing professionals, and creative directors to conceptualize, plan, and ensure the successful launch of high-budget marketing, advertising, and content campaigns.
        • Work with client and internal stakeholders to produce engaging and informative articles, ranging from in-depth clinical guides to day in the life interviews.
        • Coordinate and oversee film shoots and work with our film specialist to craft short films. Business development and operational improvements
          • Work with our CEO, COO, and VP of Client Services to analyze new business opportunities and create unique pitch ideas to secure new Clients and grow existing business.
          • Coordinate with doctor KOLs on clinical programming.
          • Provide progress reports, updates, and critical Client information to our sales team in order to create a positive experience for Clients. What are the required qualifications?
            • 7+ years of account management experience at a marketing agency
            • 5+ years of experience in managing content and marketing projects
            • A background or experience in eyecare
            • Experience interfacing with Clients at large healthcare corporations
            • Management experience
            • Experience interfacing with marketing, content, designers, and product specialists Top candidates will also have:
              • Demonstrated experience retaining and/or expanding client accounts
