Director of MarketingOZMA is looking for a Fractional, Freelance
Director of Marketing to lead the strategy and implementation of
OZMA's marketing plan, brand management and consumer engagement
across all brand touch points and channels. The right candidate
will have a proven track record of executing innovative, high
performing, digital and community based marketing strategies and
tactical plans that halo the brand, expand brand awareness, drive
customer acquisition, retention and sales.This position requires a
strong understanding of brand strategy, creative, content, digital
performance marketing, partnerships and organic social and
influencer marketing. We're looking for an extraordinary integrated
marketing leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and
can hit the ground running and bring strategic thinking,
positivity, and analytical rigor to the pursuit of our vision and
growth. - The position reports directly to our Founder/Creative
Director, Heidi Baker. -
Key Responsibilities
- Channel the brand and merchandising strategy - into an
integrated marketing plan and calendar to create brand awareness
and engagement. Ensure marketing campaigns align with brand
messaging, product launches, and overall business goals
- Create and implement an annual marketing plan and calendar
guided by OZMA's strategic business and financial plans. - Manage
the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize
ROI
- Successfully deploy campaigns across OZMA's channels to
increase revenue, acquire customers and build loyalty.
- Manage the creative briefing, development, and go-to-market of
brand storytelling. Oversee the development and execution of
creative assets including social media content, email campaigns,
and brand messaging.
- Develop and deploy digital marketing campaigns across
eCommerce, Social, Email, and paid media.
- Collaborate with our ECommerce Manager on - the user experience
of the website including site navigation, content development,
checkout funnel and promotional campaigns -
- Oversee customer retention strategy, subscription program,
loyalty program.
- Lead retail marketing initiatives to drive POS conversion
across key wholesale partners
- Identify new marketing opportunities that can deliver
significant revenue growth
- Forge relationships and build partnerships that drive
credibility and awareness for the brand
- Manage contractors required to execute the marketing plan
(social, paid marketing, etc)
- Establish, manage and report appropriate KPIs to assess
campaign performance to rationalize marketing ROI, and inform
marketing strategy
- Collaborate closely with OZMA's Founder/CEO and Fractional
President
Requirements
- 8+ years of retail/e-commerce, digital marketing, and brand
management
- Have in depth knowledge of eCommerce, digital marketing
strategy/best practices
- Affinity for growth minded marketing programs driven by
partnerships, collaborations, etc.
- This candidate possesses a high level of taste, and
understanding for a customer who values sustainability and purpose
driven and values-led brands
- A track record of achieving maximum impact with limited
resources
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and do whatever it takes
- Implement annual/seasonal online marketing calendars that
integrate sales and marketing initiatives
- Develop and manage customer acquisition and retention
strategies
